Xbox One - The venerable Madden football series has been around for decades, but every year it still manages to throw something new into the mix. This year, the focus is on "air supremacy." EA has improved the passing game with new quarterback mechanics like body-relative throws and touch and roll out passes. The handoff system has been enhanced too, as has receiving. All this, plus better AI and the new risk/reward catch and pass-defend system add up to deeper gameplay and more precise control. Innovations in presentation include player spotlights, dynamic goals and achievements, and better-quality on-the-field cameras. Returning, of course, are visuals so real that they blur the line between game and life, actual NFL franchises and players, Franchise Mode, online play, and so much more.
